L’International Academy of Web Television ha annunciato nella giornata di ieri le nomination degli IAWTV Award, evento dedicato al riconoscimento delle migliori web series. I vincitori saranno incoronati il 12 gennaio 2012 presso l’Hotel Venetian Resort and Casino di Las Vegas, durante l’annuale fiera dedicata alle nuove tecnologie l’International CES.

“La web tv è una delle forme dei nuovi media digitali con più ampia e veloce espansione, tanto che il pubblico di tutto il mondo aumenta in maniera esponenziale di anno in anno. Gli IAWTV Awards hanno lo scopo di premiare tutte quelle persone che lavorano dietro all’industria delle web series, settore in constante crescita grazie anche a tantissimi nuovi talenti.”

ha dichiarato Paul Kontonis, Presidente del “Board of Directors” della IAWTV.

Solo le migliori web series tra le 350 partecipanti sono stato scelte, dopo gli attenti scrutini dei membri più attivi della IAWTV, per poter partecipare a questo prestigioso premio. Tra i candidati figurano anche delle web series molto care agli utenti della community, tra cui Aidan 5, Pioneer One, SOLO, GOLD: Night Of The Zombie King e Dragon Age: Redemption, con cui ItaSA ha stretto collaborazioni, fornendo i sottotitoli ufficiali.
